    2. London has loud cars and planes .
Not so much as Chembakolli its more quiet and all you can mostly here are birds.
But in London and Chembakolli they both get a breeze of the wind every once and a while.
Sometimes you can here fireworks and you can not in Chembakolli.
You can here birds singing here to and in Chembakolli.

  4. Chembakolli is in India. The Adivasi people love their land. Adivasi children have a very different school life compared to us:
    # They have to walk really far just to get to school.
    # For the first half of the day at school, they do academic studies.
    # For the second half of the day at school, they do non - academic studies.
    # They don't have many schools in Chembakolli.

Everywhere people go, they would see many animals like elephants, monkeys, dear, wild pigs and sometimes a bear. Adivasi people mostly live in forests and farms.

  5. Chembakolli is a village in Gudalur Taluk, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu. It is in the south of India surrounded by forests. It is located in the Nilgiri Hills. The Adivasi tribe were forced to leave their forest land when the Mudumalai Forest Reserve was established in 1940.[1] On 5 December 1988 10,000 people took part in a march through the town of Gudalur, demanding the return of their land. The Adivasi now live in 200 villages, including Chembakolli, and have the own school, Vidyodaya School, and, since 1990, their own hospital in Gudalur. They also own their own tea estate as well.

  6. The children of chembakolli have to go 50km to get to a jeep, then it drives them the rest of the way to school. The Adivasi people(the people of chembakolli)used to be teased for being different. They were given different names, different school equipment and of course they were teased. thankfully today they have a special school called Vidiyoda.Chembakolli, a village in southern India, was founded following an unprecedented march in December 1988 by 10,000 Adivasi (indigenous people). Coming together to reclaim their tribal rights to live in the forests near the town of Gudalur, the march was a huge success, winning the respect of the government and local people. The Adivasi were able to settle in many hamlets on the land, including Chembakolli, as well as establish their own school and hospital.

  7. Chembarkolli is a small villige in the South of India. It is in a hilly forest area of Tamil Nadu state. Most of the villagers are farmers that grow rice, onions, tomatoes, peppers and oranges. Genarally these crops are grown to feed families rather to sell. The viligers have to fetch their water from the well; it is a long walk and the water is very heavy to carry. One women would usually carry 10 l at one time. It is hard work living in Chembarkolli the women have to collect the water, grind rice, clean and work in the fields. While the women are in the forest they will have to collect wood everyday for the cooking fire.
