Asteroids are made out of different types of minerals and substances. Their formation depends on what planet they originated from. Asteroids closer to the sun are mostly made out of carbon. Unlike asteroids further away from the sun are made out of silicate rock. The metallic asteroids are made up to 80% iron and 20% of a mixture of nickel, iridium, palladium, platinum, gold and other precious metals.
They can be very big or a bit small. They don't normally to much damage it depends on were about's they have landed. It is a round big ball in space that comes down sometimes. They normally drop on other planets. They sometimes drop on earth and when they do they normally brake or explode in the sky so more come to earth then we might think. They are pieces of rock. They are the colour black or grey or brown.
They can be very big or small they don't really cause lots of damage They are pieces of rock they can be black, grey or brown like Maiya said. 4.5million years asteroids hit earth. They normally don't really cause lots of damage for earth . asteroids normally don't go to earth they go to other planets.
Asteroids are small objects often rocky, metallic or both that orbit the sun. Asteroids are large rocks in outer space. They are known as minor planets. There are many asteroids named as: 1.Ceres 2.Juno 3.Vesta 4.Irene 5.Fortuna. Asteroids are classified by two methods: 1.Orbital mechanics 2.Composition.
Asteroids make big holes that can harm lots of those live in the hills, in other words residents will be affected. Although we know the Earth has been hit by meteors and asteroids there is no immediate problem or harm from meteorites.
Asteroids What do they look like? Asteroids are big rocky balls that comes from space the minimum size of an Asteroid Would be the size of an airbus the maximum size seen would be 2/3 of earth but there are bigger Asteroids in the universe. Asteroids also have names there are 37 names :1 Ceres 2 Pallas 3 Juno 4 Vesta 5 Astraea 6 Hebe 7 Iris 8 Flora 9 Metis 10 hygiea 11 Parthenope 12 Victoria 13 Egeria 14 Irene 15 Eunomia 16 Psyche 17 Thetis 18 Melpomene 19 Fortuna 26 proserpina 28 Bellona 29 Amphitrite 35 Leukothea 37 Fides What danger might they cause for us on earth? asteroids are really bright and fast some times they block radio control and cause lots of damage if it doesn't hit some thing it'll hit the ground and make a huge creator that's why the moon has creators and mars got hit by an asteroid a long time ago and got misshaped it is still misshaped today. My own question and awnser: where do asteroids come from? asteroids usually come from mars and Jupiter because it has an asteroid belt between the two planets. But there are other asteroid belts in our universe.
Ginarmously huge rock shooting through the sky, You've smashed a few planets as you flew by. Another asteroid arrived earlier and gave a wild display, Some massive explosions happened at Russia today!
Star: Very good use of rhyming e.g: sky and by, display and today! Star: Good use of personification e.g: "You've smashed a few planets as you flew by,". Wish: Remember to spell 'ginormously' correctly.
P.S: A nice reflection of last year's asteroid that hit Russia.

What danger might they cause for us on earth?
asteroids are really bright and fast some times they block radio control and cause lots of damage if it doesn't hit some thing it'll hit the ground and make a huge creator that's why the moon has creators and mars got hit by an asteroid a long time ago and got misshaped it is still misshaped today.

Wow Nick! Even I didn't know about an asteroid hitting Mars. Plus, thanks for the asteroid names. I'll be sure to check them tonight.
