there was abrve nihgt yesterday andhe was called theseus and he has just been maried but unfourtunetley a badey called the minotour and he has captured the butiful princees so theseus is very angrey so he was going to be on his way to save the prinncess but somebodey told him to go and get some advice from the god zues so he did and luckeley in the end he got advice from zues and got past the minotour and saved her
Ancient Greek myth Persephone catches up with us! Persephone was a kind, swift and gentle girl but when Hades the god of the underworld takes her, her Mother gets upset and worried and goes looking for her. Persephone feels much, much happier with Hades because she doesn't like being with her Mother. Her Mother is so concerned about her that her Mother only allows her to stay where her Mother can see her. When Zeus says to his messenger " you must get Persephone back", Hades offers Persephone one pomegranate seed. But, if she has one she has to stay with him for a month, one seed = one month. She had 4 seeds and stayed with Hades for 4 months. When she is not with her Mother it is cold miserable and sometimes snowing because her mother curses the upper world and when she is with her Mother everything is warm ,beautiful and everyone is happy even Hades . She was so fed- up that she was prepared to do anything to get away from her mother.
Beauty gone BREAKING NEWS Peresphone the beauty of the world has gone missing and we cannot find her. The crops are withering and flowers are slowly dying. Demeter is so upset she wants her daughter back. Demeter is talking to Zeus to sent Hermes to find her daughter most people think she has been taken by Hades to the underground. we are still asking Peresphone's friends to find out more about this terrible incident .We all hope we find her soon. we will have more info on Greek news
Everybody is talking how Theseus killed king Minos' Minotaur
As we all now King Minos had a deadly Minotaur until he met Theseus.King Minos ordered 7 men and women from Athens to be eaten by the Minotaur.But,our hero said it had to stop.He came to Minos as one of the people and promised he would destroy the beast in the maze.the next day he was the first person to go into the maze,he got help from the princess of Crete(King Minos' daughter) Danae because she gave him a sword and a piece of string so he couldn't get lost.Theseus then came to the middle of the maze and stabbed the Minotaur in the forehead.He followed the string to the gates.He then set sail to Athens but sadly he put up the black sail instead of the white one.Danae came with him mad proposed to him but he said no way.so he left her on a island.His father seeing the black flag in the distance threw himself of the cliff.Theseus said he is sad because of his fathers death.
Odysseus and the Cyclops Odysseus was a brave warrior.He was sailing back home when he pulled up on an island.He looked around for food but there was nothing.He started searching when he thought that if he took some food from someone he would have to give them something in return.So he took a sheep's body filled with the most powerful wine in the world.So he searched and searched until he found a big cave with lots of food.So Odysseus and his men ate the food until a huge Cyclops came in.He was a terrifying creature with only one eye at the top of his forehead.He shouted, "Why have you eaten all my food?" "We have the most powerful wine in the world.If you let us have some more food. "Never but I can do you a favor:I'll eat you last" Then he picked up 2 of Odysseus's men and hit them against the wall,then he threw them into his mouth and devoured them whole.
I will end it there and now we have a special guest.We have a chance to ask Odysseus,the great,some questions. "So,Odysseus how did you feel when the Cyclops picked up your men and devoured them whole." "Well it was quite shocking.What's that there is a war starting in Athens.I'd better be there.Well that is it for today we will see you tomorrow on GREEK NEWS.
