My sincere apologies for the lateness in posting this!
Using the features of persuasive writing, can you write 10-12 lines persuading somebody to buy this television.
Identify who it is that you are selling it to: a parent may want a television for different reasons than a child so make sure you use language that will appeal to your audience!
You can submit this homework either online or on paper and due to the lateness in posting this, it is due in on Friday, 24th January.
Features of persuasive writing that you may want to include:
- imperative verbs;
- present tense;
- adverbs and adjectives;
- time connectives;
- factual evidence;
- emotive language;
- rhetorical questions;
- puns and wordplay;
- slogan;
- logical connectives; and
- exaggeration.
Persuading my mum to get this television:

I have a Sony Bravia 40 inch TV. It is HD (High definition), it is smart as well and you can access internet on it :
YouTube, Love Film, CBBC iplayer, etc.
This TV is 3D too! It is also LED (Light emitting diodes). They help the TV to be sleek. Technically it is a very good TV to buy, it's got all the features of the modern world. The colour of the TV is black, which is a very rich colour.
Persuading a unknown person:

Iasmina: If you don't have space put it in the attic and it is good that it is small so you can take it in your car or take it where ever you go but by car I mean.
Unknown person: Well if you say it's good.
Unknown person : But still it is expensive.
Iasmina: Well how about £150 then.
Unknown person: £150!
Iasmina: It has free view in it.
Unknown person : It has free view I want it.
Iasmina : OK! here we go, have a good day.
